Skin: Causes skin irritation.

Eyes: Causes eye irritation.

Ingestion: May cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract with generalized discomfort, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting abdominal pain. With ingestion of larges doses of ammonium acetate, there arises the possibility of sufficient absorption to produce diuresis and systemic ammonia poisoning.
